While replacing my battery, I busted off the badly corroded stock arm system, and needed a QUICK replacement. My solution? I grabbed some left-overs from a CB Radio mounting bracket. I took the flat center piece, and wedged it under the driver's side fender lip. There's an extra, unused bolt hole in just the right spot.. stick a bolt in there (it's just to hold the bracket) and then let the fender lip come back down on top of it. Now you have a stronger battery hold-down, that isn't all corroded (yet)!
